AquaOps (Global Water Monitor)
Project Overview

Core Problem: 30% of donated water pumps break within 2 years due to lack of maintenance tracking.

Solution: An asset-management app that uses QR codes on pumps to track repair history and water quality data.

Technical Specifications:

Architecture: Offline-First Map-Based.

Challenge: Maps usually need internet.

Solution: Uses MBTiles (Vector Tiles) downloaded to the device storage so the Engineer can see detailed village maps in the middle of a desert.

Tech Stack:

Frontend: React Native.

Mapping Engine: Mapbox GL Native (Custom styling).

IoT Integration: The app connects via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to smart sensors installed on newer pumps to download usage data automatically.

Database: Realm (MongoDB) for handling heavy local datasets (thousands of water points).
